Mandarin Square / Bu Zi 补子

Dalam Bahasa Indonesia:

Adalah hiasan pada jubah yang dipakai oleh para pejabat pada masa dinasti Ming dan Qing di China. Bu Zi berbentuk kotak dan terletak didepan dada, dibordir dan memiliki bermacam gambar hewan sebagai lambang pangkat untuk para pejabat.

Pemakaian Bu Zi bukan hanya dipakai di china, namun dipakai juga di kerajaan-kerajaan vassal Qing dan Ming seperti kerajaan Nguyen di Vietnam dan kerajaan Joseon di korea.

Bu Zi untuk pejabat sipil berbeda dengan pejabat militer, demikian juga dengan lambang hewan yang dipakai.

Pejabat Militer memakai lambang hewan darat yang ganas dan gagah, sedangkan pejabat sipil memakai lambang burung yang cantik dan indah.
